Description
The 201 stainless steel strip is a cost-effective alternative to 301 and 304 grades. It has less nickel but more manganese and nitrogen, giving it moderate rust resistance. It works well in dry indoor conditions and is commonly used for household items. It’s easy to shape, strong like 301 steel, and can be strengthened through cold-working, making it great for decorative parts.
