Incoloy 825

Description

Incoloy 825 is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy that also contains molybdenum, copper, and titanium. It resists chloride-ion stress corrosion cracking, reducing acids like sulfuric and phosphoric acid, and oxidizing agents such as nitrates. Titanium improves its stability at high temperatures and enhances corrosion resistance in welded structures. Incoloy 825 is easy to form and weld and works well for both stamped and shaped components, including furnace parts and large welded piping systems.

Application:

  • Chemical processing
  • Pollution control
  • Oil and gas recovery
  • Acid production
  • Pickling operations
  • Nuclear fuel reprocessing
