3 8 Seamless Stainless Steel Tubing
Description
The 3/8″ stainless steel tubing is manufactured using a hot-rolling or cold-drawing process, formed from a single piece of metal without welds. Its outer diameter is precisely controlled at 9.525mm (3/8 inch), with uniform wall thickness (tolerance ±0.05mm). The material is selected from 304 or 316 austenitic stainless steel, containing 18% chromium and 8% nickel (316 also contains 2% molybdenum). With a surface roughness of Ra ≤ 1.6μm, this tubing is widely used in precision fluid transfer and structural support applications. It is 15% lighter than carbon steel tubing but maintains comparable strength.
