Over 3,000 tons of annual turnover and 1,000+ specifications in stock. All products comply with GB, JIS, and ASTM standards to meet global market demands.
Large InventoryHow Stainless Steel Strips Are Made
- Step 1, raw material preparation and smelting: Scrap steel and ferroalloys (e.g., chromium, nickel) are melted in an electric arc furnace. Decarburisation and composition adjustments are made in AOD or VOD converters.
- Step 2, continuous casting and hot rolling: Molten steel is cast into slabs and hot-rolled at ~1200°C to enhance material uniformity.
- Step 3: Hot-rolled strips are cold rolled multiple times to reach the desired thickness (0.05–3mm). Straightened for flatness and dimensional accuracy.
- Step 4, Annealing and Pickling: Recrystallisation annealing restores ductility and removes work hardening. Pickled using nitric-hydrofluoric acid and polished for improved surface finish. Slitting
- Step 5: Wide strips are cut into custom widths (10–600mm) per customer request. Quality Control
- Step 6: Hardness testing, metallography, and corrosion testing ensure compliance with ASTM/EN standards.
