FAQ
In the spirit of complete transparency, here are some frequently asked questions we receive about Hastelloy®:
Hastelloy® conforms to ASME, ASTM, and AMS standards.
Its maximum boiling point is around 1800°F, which is lower than other alloy metals. Therefore, it is not recommended for extremely high-temperature applications.
In addition to nickel and molybdenum, Hastelloy® may contain iron, aluminium, tungsten, carbon, titanium, chromium, and other elements. It’s one of the most complexly alloyed materials in the metal industry!
