Automated Manufacturing TechnologyHow is Capillary Tube Made?
- Step 1, Pipe Forming and Welding: Rolled stainless steel sheets are fed into a welding machine for forming. TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding is used to produce precise, high-strength seams.
- Step 2, Stretching and Shrinking: After welding, tubes are stretched through a mould to precisely control outer diameter, wall thickness, and surface quality. In some cases, a shrinking process (without mandrels) is used to further reduce the tube diameter.
- Step 3, Annealing and Continuous Casting: Tubes are heated above recrystallisation temperature to restore ductility and improve mechanical properties. Continuous casting ensures uniform internal structure and consistent quality.
