Stainless Seamless Steel Pipe Manufacturing Process
- Step 1, Raw material preparation: Select high-quality stainless steel such as 304 or 316L, then cut round steel or pipe billets to size.
- Step 2, Heating: Heat the round steel to 1200°C to form a thick-walled hollow pipe using a piercing machine.
- Step 3, Cold Rolling / Cold Drawing: Use multi-roll mills or cold drawing equipment to refine the pipe’s wall thickness and dimensional accuracy.
- Step 4, Annealingt: Conduct bright annealing to relieve stress, improve ductility, and reduce hardness.
- Step 5, Pickling and Passivation: Remove the oxidation layer and impurities to prevent corrosion and form a uniform silver-white passivated surface.
