Duplex Stainless Steel Types
Duplex stainless steel combines austenite and ferrite, hence the name “Duplex”. It is twice as strong as either austenitic or ferritic steel alone. With lower molybdenum and nickel content, it is more cost-effective to manufacture and is used across a variety of industries.
