Inconel 718
Description
A precipitation-hardening alloy with nickel (50–55%), chromium, niobium, and molybdenum. Inconel 718 offers excellent tensile strength, corrosion resistance, and weldability. Common in aerospace, power generation, and industrial components, especially where post-weld cracking is a concern.
