Duplex (1.4462) Stainless Steel
Description
Duplex 1.4462 stainless steel combines the corrosion resistance of austenitic stainless with the strength of ferritic steel, making it a versatile solution for challenging environments. With double the yield strength of standard stainless grades and strong resistance to corrosion and stress cracking, it performs well in oil and gas production, desalination, and chemical handling systems. Its good weldability also allows for efficient fabrication and on-site maintenance.
Application:
- Chemical processing
- Oil and gas industry
- Marine applications
- The pulp and paper industry
- Desalination plants
- Construction industry
