Hastelloy B2
Description
Hastelloy B2 is a nickel-molybdenum alloy with strong resistance to reducing media, especially hydrogen chloride gas and strong acids like sulfuric, acetic, and phosphoric acid. It maintains corrosion resistance after welding without requiring complex heat treatments. B2 is particularly effective in handling hydrochloric acid across a wide range of concentrations and temperatures, making it ideal for reactors, exchangers, and acid-handling systems.
