Hastelloy C276
Description
Hastelloy C276 (UNS N10276) is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy with added tungsten, designed for exceptional corrosion resistance in a wide range of aggressive environments. Its very low carbon and silicon levels reduce carbide precipitation during welding, maintaining corrosion resistance in the as-welded state. C276 performs well in both oxidizing and reducing environments, including chloride and halide-containing media. It is widely used in pollution control, chemical processing, and waste treatment systems
Application:
- Chemical processing
- Pollution control
- Pulp and paper production
- Industrial and municipal waste treatment
- Sour natural gas recovery
- Pharmaceutical and food processing equipment
