Incoloy 925
Description
Incoloy 925 (UNS N09925) is an age-hardenable nickel-iron-chromium alloy that includes molybdenum, copper, titanium, and aluminum. It offers strong resistance to sulfide stress cracking and stress corrosion cracking in sour gas and oil environments containing hydrogen sulfide. Commonly used in downhole and surface equipment for gas wells, Incoloy 925 also performs well in subsea applications. Its high strength and hardness improve the reliability of fasteners and the durability of components like pumps and shafts.
Application:
- Down-hole and surface gas well components
- Tubular products
- Chemical processing
- Fasteners, marine and pump shafting
- Oil and gas extraction
