Stainless Steel Strip 2mm

Description

This 2mm stainless steel strip is made by cold-rolling and comes in two types: 304 and 316 stainless steel. The 304 type has 18% chromium and 8% nickel, while the 316 type has 2% molybdenum for extra rust resistance. It’s available in widths from 100mm to 600mm, with a thickness tolerance of ±0.05mm. You can choose between mirror (Ra ≤ 0.3 μm) or brushed (Ra 1.2–2.5 μm) finishes. The coil weights range from 50 to 1000 kg. This strip is resistant to corrosion in environments with pH levels from 3 to 11, making it great for food-filling machines and ship frames. It’s strong, with tensile strength of at least 520 MPa and elongation of at least 40%. It can be laser-cut and deep drawn, and is widely used for structural and precision sheet metal parts.

Application:

  • Curtain wall framing
  • EV battery trays
  • Conveyor brackets
  • Filling machine parts
  • Ship porthole frames
  • Medical device housings
