Hastelloy® Alloy C4 / 2.4610 / UNS N06455
Description
Hastelloy C4 (UNS N06455) is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy offering outstanding corrosion resistance and thermal stability. It maintains its ductility and resistance even after long-term exposure to temperatures between 649°C and 1038°C (1200°F to 1900°F). C4 performs reliably in welded conditions and resists acids such as hydrochloric and sulfuric acid as well as chloride-rich solutions. It is used in chemical reactors, bleaching systems, and waste treatment.
Application:
- Chemical processing
- Pollution control
- Waste treatment
- Pharmaceutical production
- The pulps and paper industry
- Marine applications
