Hastelloy B3
Description
Hastelloy B3 (UNS N10675) is a nickel-molybdenum alloy developed for improved thermal stability and corrosion resistance in reducing environments. It withstands harsh acids such as sulfuric, acetic, formic, and phosphoric acid, and shows excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. B3 is especially useful in the food and chemical processing sectors where corrosion and heat resistance are critical.
Application:
- Chemical processing
- Oil and gas
- Heat-treating fixtures
- Food processing
