Hastelloy G30

Description

Hastelloy G30 (UNS N06030) is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy designed for enhanced corrosion resistance, particularly in commercial phosphoric acid and highly oxidizing environments. The addition of cobalt and tungsten improves its performance in challenging chemical media, making it suitable for use in agitated vessels and harsh chemical processing environments. Its resistance to grain boundary precipitation in the heat-affected zone during welding makes it especially well-suited for welded applications.

Application:

  • Chemical treatment plants
  • Agitator blades
  • Nuclear plants
  • Production of pesticides and fertilizers
  • Metal pickling hardware
  • P2O5 evaporator tubes
